Adaku Anyimukwu founded Radons in 2013, after over 20 years of Primary school teaching. After taking a few years out of work to raise her four children, she decided to enter back into the work force by supply teaching for 5 years. After 5 years, with support from her husband, she decided to open Radons. From her knowledge of teaching and at the time seeing the rise in group teaching, she witnessed the rising demand for this.
Throughout her own childhood she was more so of a creative, getting into art and later going on to study this at university. However, she also decided to combine her degree with teacher training, eventually looking to pursue a career in primary school teaching after receiving her PGCE. It is not necessarily the step she thought she would pursue; however, the 20 years in teaching has certainly grown her passion for teaching and learning much further. With this, she was determined to share her knowledge and expertise outside of the classroom. She is now happy to be working alongside her daughter in building the company, from the journey of where it started to the potential she knows it has.
