Outside of the teaching, I have around 2 years experience in working as a Business Development Representative within the Tech Industry.

I’m passionate about teaching and have a keen interest in helping young people improve their academic achievement and social skills. I have gained over 20 years of valuable experience working with both children and adult learners in Primary/ Secondary schools / Colleges and in an ESOL /EAL setting. • who requires additional or special support
• who are underachieving
• who are unable to access or maintain mainstream school
• who have medical or special educational needs
• who needs Support with Functional Skills English /Maths
My role is to identify their area of learning and plan sessions in line with student’s learning needs, helping them to re-engage and re-integrate back to school. I always aim to develop and create a positive relationship with my learners to help improve academic performance, boost confidence and close the gap in learning
I also work with EAL/ESOL learners of different abilities who require ongoing support
• To enable them to access the curriculum effectively and ensure that they can fully participate in school life,
• or for academic or personal reasons to gain fluency in the language, or

Hello, my name is Erin, and I have recently completed my bachelor's degree in psychology. I am relatively new to tutoring, although I have been a tutee before and understand their needs and how to identify those needs. In my time studying, I have developed my communication skills, statistical analysis, and critical analysis skills, among others. At A levels, I have completed English Literature which entailed a lot of essay writing, Sociology encompassed research methods and application of contextual information, and Art Design, hence making a good background in literacy and life sciences.
My teaching level is primary content, although I am able to go to early secondary level. As far as my tutoring style, I can identify various learning styles and apply the relevant ones in accordance with each tutee. Where my values lie are in finding what works for the tutee and being able to apply this to the curriculum with relevant examples that may give the content more depth to the individual.
